Tolérance est un projet qui a émergé suite à ma participation à un workshop animé par la plasticienne Israëlienne Mona Oren. Cet atelier a introduit à mon égard un matériau que je connaissais peu: la cire de synthèse. 

 

Les qualités plastiques ainsi que les caractéristiques techniques, physiques et chimiques de la cire ont défini l’esthétique et le sens de ce projet. 

 

Ce matériau m’a conduit à réaliser à partir de deux moules reprenant les symboles des sexes homme et femme un pastillage rouge et blanc. 

Ses qualités intrinsèques, notamment la capacité de fonte rapide et d’homogénéité chromatique m’ont permis le temps de cette installation de rallier les hommes aux femmes, les femmes aux hommes, mais aussi les hommes aux hommes et les femmes aux femmes.

Tolérance is a project that emerged after my participation in a workshop led by the Israeli artist Mona Oren. This workshop introduced me to a material that I knew little of: synthetic wax.

 

The plastic qualities as well as the technical, physical and chemical characteristics of the wax defined the aesthetics of this project.

 

From this material I made two molds that represent the symbols of the sexes : a red and white pastillage.

It's intrinsic qualities, in particular the capacity of fast melting and chromatic homogeneity, allowed me during the time of this installation to rally men to women, women to men, but also men to men and women to women.
